getting around by bike.

although the Delta is flat, there are several factors to consider if you’re relying solely on a bike during your stay. To get here, take the Cercanías Renfe train to L’Ampolla. From there, it’s about a one-hour bike ride to deltaic, passing through the natural park and rice fields. If you’re coming without a bike, you can take a taxi (20-25 €) upon arrival and rent a bike here. We also provide free tools and a cleaning area for bikes!

car and bicycle parking.

we are located on a one-way street where parking is available on both sides. You can also find free spots in the surrounding streets, but please respect private entrances and driveways. For bicycles, we offer free open parking and paid indoor parking, available as an extra when booking your accommodation. We recommend bringing your own locks in both cases.

your ideal base to explore the Delta and Les Terres de l’Ebre.

Deltebre, at the heart of the Delta.

it is Catalonia’s largest municipality and the perfect starting point to explore the Delta de l’Ebre Natural Park. With about 10,000 residents across La Cava and Jesús i Maria, the landscape is dominated by rice fields, orchards, and fruit trees, with low-rise buildings in urban areas. A scenic riverside promenade runs along the Ebre River.

the rice fields, the sun and the moon.

the Delta de l’Ebre is covered in vast rice fields, creating a constantly changing landscape throughout the year. The flat terrain, reflective surfaces, and lack of mountains make for spectacular sunrises, sunsets, and moonrises.

a biosphere reserve.

since 2013, the Delta de l’Ebre and Els Ports Natural Park have been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve due to their rich landscapes, representative Mediterranean ecosystems, and successful biodiversity conservation model.

Delta de l’Ebre Natural Park.

it is Europe’s 3rd most important wetland and includes 60 km of Catalonia’s 280 km coastline, mostly untouched. Home to 400+ bird species, it is among the world’s top 100 sustainable destinations.

Els Ports Natural Park.

with over 1000 botanical species, it is the largest reserve of Iberian wild goats in Spain. Across its rugged landscapes, 2 different climates coexist: the warm Mediterranean climate in the southeast, and a colder climate in the west, with altitudes over 1000m.

Les Terres de l’Ebre.

the region includes the counties of Baix Ebre, Montsià, Terra Alta, and Ribera d’Ebre, offering a variety of unique landscapes, rich local gastronomy, and an exceptional range of high-quality organic products.
